Details:
Isaikalaimani. Four years. A diploma program in performance (vocal, veena, violin or flute). An age limit of 25 years. Teacher Training Certificate in Indian Music. One year. This is an evening program with studies in voice. An age limit of 18 to 30 years.
Institution Notes:
A music college was started at the University in 1929 and a separate Faculty of Fine Arts was established in 1953. The Faculty of Fine Arts offers programs in Indian music and dance. Languages of instruction are Tamil and English.
