Bachelor of Arts. Three years. Music studies include performance, choral and instrumental conducting, theory, musicology, solfège, music education.
Institution Notes:
The University was established in 1949 though its history can be traced back to 1735. In 1997 the former Miskolc branch of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music was incorporated into the university as the Béla Bartók Music Institute; in 2000 the Comenius Teacher Training College was also integrated into the University as the Faculty of Education. The Béla Bartók Secondary School, founded in 1966, is associated with the University and houses the Palace of Music.
