Institution Notes:

The University was founded in 1968, moved to its new campus in Györ in 1977 and gained its current name and status in 2002. The Institute, which trains teachers of music, comprises two departments: Department of Orchestral Instruments, and Department of Solo Instruments and Music Theory.
