Institution Notes:

The University can trace its history back to 1538. Formerly known as the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Debrecen branch, it is currently the Faculty of Music of Debrecen University. Programs are offered at three levels: preparatory, college and university. There are departments of piano, string instruments, woodwind instruments, brass instruments, music theory, voice, chamber music, conducting and church music.
