The library’s Liszt Collection includes original manuscripts, copies of scores, letters, documents, photographs, paintings, art objects, press cuttings, instruments and personal objects. A state-of-the-art audio-visual studio provides modern recording facilities, established with assistance from the Japanese government. There is a piano tuning and repair workshop. Preparatory programs are offered for potential applicants to the professional courses. Most classes may be offered in English. The Kodály Institute of the Liszt Academy in Kecskemét also offers comprehensive programs, leading to non-degree awards as well as to BA and MA degrees in Kodály Music Pedagogy. It also organises summer seminars. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
