Institution Notes:
A government-supported institution founded in 1956. There are some fine performing spaces and a state-of-the-art electro-acoustic music centre. The music department owns a Balinese gamelan, a large collection of percussion instruments, as well as 52 pianos, two harpsichords and three organs.
