Institution Notes:
The semi-private Escuela de Música 'Victoriano López', founded in 1945, is one of two schools in Honduras providing general secondary education and music training to children with aptitude in classical music. The other is the Escuela Experimental de Los Niños para la Música in Tegucigalpa. The School uses the Suzuki method with its young pupils. The founder, Victoriano López, composed the National Anthem of Honduras.
