Institution Notes:
This institution is situated on the southern Atlantic beach coast of Ghana, 30 kilometers from Accra. It trains musicians, mainly visiting tourists, in African drumming and xylophone playing. The Academy is more of a holiday resort and conference centre than a formal academy of music. No degrees or diplomas are awarded. There are regular concerts of African music and dance. Instruction is in Ghanaian languages and English.
