Institution Notes:
The Conservatorium was founded in 1931. It offers courses for teachers of piano accordion and harmonica. There is an accordion orchestra. The Conservatorium organises workshops and concerts as well as classes in kindergartens and for seniors groups. A co-operative link with the University of Osnabrück enables graduates of the Hohner Conservatorium to continue for two further years to complete a bachelor's degree in jazz or classic accordion.
