Institution Notes:
The Hochschule can trace its history back to 1909. It was granted its current name and status in 1931. There is a preliminary program for those wishing to enter the professional program. The Hochschule has a collaboration with the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim in a program linking church music with school music teaching. A further collaboration with the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg leads to the degree of Master Popularkirchenmusik.
