Institution Notes:

The Hochschule was established in 1949. The training covers both Catholic and Protestant rites. All students sing in the choir. Students are also trained to work with children’s activities (play groups, singing games, use of Orff instruments), and to work in community groups with little or no experience with music. On completion students earn the qualification for Church Music B. It has a library with a good collection of choral and instrumental music. There are seven practice organs as well as one large church organ.
