Details:
Diplôme du Conservatoire International de Musique de Paris. Studies include performance (classical, jazz), composition, theory, orchestration, musicology. Since this is a private institution this is not a State Diploma. Medals (médailles à excellence) are awarded according to the standard reached. Cycle de perfectionnement. For advanced performance, culminating in the award of the Grand Prix du Conservatoire International de Musique de Paris.
Institution Notes:
A private conservatoire founded in 1925. In addition to the professional music programs there are programs for young children and interested members of the community. Correspondence tuition is available in all written subjects. Summer performance courses (in piano, guitar, saxophone, violin and singing) are held annually over a period of 10 to 15 days.
