Licenciatura en Educación Musical. Four years. Studies include performance, choral and instrumental conducting, music history, theory, mostly oriented towards music education.
Institution Notes:
This institution was originally founded in 1839, and was granted its present name and status in 1973. There are two attached Institutes: Choral Studies and Orchestral Studies. The Department of Music runs a conservatorio which offers music instruction to children from age seven, as well as a preparatory course for applicants for university studies.
