Diplôme d’études musicales (DEM). A two- to three-year pre-professional program in classical and jazz performance and associated studies which may include early music, theory, aural skills and composition.
Institution Notes:
This Conservatoire is a public institution offering programs in music, theatre and classical and contemporary dance. It is also known as 'Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Caen la mer'. The program is organised in cycles. The first (éveil musical’) four years, the second, four years, the third ('cycle d’orientation professionnelle') and fourth ('cycle d’enseignement supérieur professionnelle'). The Conservatoire works closely with the University of Rouen in preparing students for higher levels of training.
