Details:

Tecnicatura Superior en Música Especialidad (Instrumento). Four years. Studies include performance (classical, popular), choral and instrumental conducting, Latin American folklore. Profesorado de Música Especialidad (Instrumento). Four years. All classes are oriented towards music education.

Institution Notes:

A provincial conservatorium founded in 1961. The Institute offers in-service training courses for school music teachers as well as for their own teachers (harmony, aural training, instruments, chamber music, jazz, electronic composition). It participates in the RED virtual network of teacher training institutions organised through the Ministry of Education. There are programs for children as well as for visually handicapped people.
