Undergraduate programs

Bachelor of Arts. Music studies include performance (classical, opera), music technology, repetiteur training, project management. An interdisciplinary program involving studies in circus, dance, drama, music theatre and puppet theatre is offered. Students major in one area and may take studies in other areas.

The Turku Arts Academy is a faculty of the Turku University of Applied Sciences. It can trace its history back to 1830 and was established in its current form in 1992. The Academy offers programs in music, visual arts, theatre and film and media. It works in close association with the Turun Conservatorium, particularly in the performance of large-scale works such as operas and theatre presentations. As well as the professional program there are courses for interested members of the local community. There is a second campus in Salo. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
