Details:
Five levels of basic study organised as: Levels 1, 2, 3, 4 - two years per level; Level 5 - one year. A Master's Certificate is awarded following a further two years. Studies cover rhythmic structures, rock, funk, shuffles, jazz styles, Latin, bossa nova, reggae, ethnic rhythms, polyrhythms, studio recording, teaching skills.
Institution Notes:
The Bermuda Drum Institute was established in 1991. It offers private drum lessons to students of all ages.
