Details:
A program of advanced training for graduate voice students who have obtained a master's degree or the equivalent to prepare them for the professional operatic stage. Limited to students from partner institutions. The program takes into account the individual talent of each participant. There are courses in performance, repetiteur training, opera production and direction.
Institution Notes:
The Conservatorium Maastricht has organised the European Opera Academy - a platform of music academies which open up best practices in opera education for young professionals, giving them connections with opera houses, vocal competitions and festivals. In 2022 participating academies are: Antwerp, Cardiff, Florence, Hamburg, Geneva, Linz, Łódź, Maastricht, Oslo, Parma, Porto, Riga, Stockholm, Valencia, Iceland, Novara and Vilnius.
