Institution Notes:

The Danish National Academy of Music (Syddansk Musikkonservatorium - SDMK) is a higher education institution with campuses in the Southern Denmark cities of Odense and Esbjerg offering programs in music and theatre. The library houses the music section of the Odense University library as well as books, records, videos and tapes of the Danish Jazz Centre. The Academy offers a program in folk music leading to the Nordic Folk Master degree, in collaboration with the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki, Finland), the Royal Academy of Music (Stockholm, Sweden) and the Ole Bull Academy (Voss, Norway). Only two students from each participating country are accepted each year. Language of instruction is Danish. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
