Housed in the Centro Cultural e Académico in Benfica, the green zone of Luanda, the Casa da Música offers programs in community music for interested adults as well as group music lessons in piano, guitar, percussion, double bass, singing and choral lessons. It was founded in 2014 and is a non-profit project run through the Fundação Arte e Cultura, a non-profit centre created to promote development in artistic pursuits among artists and young aspirants to the musical world. The centre operates a professional recording studio where underprivileged musicians have the opportunity to record their music.
