Associate Diploma (ANMSM). Licentiate Diploma (LNMSM). Fellowship Diploma (FNMSM). Pieces for each are chosen by the candidate who is also able to nominate the day, date and time of the examination. Associate Diploma for clergy and lay readers, dealing with management of music in worship.
Institution Notes:
This School was founded in 1992, though it is not a teaching institution. It is an independent, self-funding organisation offering examinations leading to diplomas in performance, accompaniment, composition, conducting, musical theatre and related disciplines. There are three levels of diploma - Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship. Advanced diplomas are offered in music teaching, choir training, accompaniment and music research, liturgical accompaniment. At junior levels students may present for certificates of achievement. Performance examinations require a post-assessment viva voce.
