Diplôme d’études musicales (DEM). A two- to three-year pre-professional program in classical and jazz performance and associated studies which may include early music, theory, aural skills and composition.

After a number of name changes this Conservatoire was finally given its current name and status in 2014. There are departments of music, dance and theatre. The music program is organised in cycles. The first (éveil musical’) four years, the second, four years, the third ('cycle d’orientation professionnelle') and fourth ('cycle d’enseignement supérieur professionnelle'). A new purpose-built conservatory is scheduled for opening in 2022. The School organises programs in performance for young people and interested adults, completion of which may lead to the school’s professional program. There is a second campus of the conservatoire in Bastia.
