A three-year course of training in music. Studies in performance (jazz/popular and traditional), theory, song composition, music history, music production, entrepreneurship.
Institution Notes:
Supported by the Rwandan government, the Catholic public Nyundo School of Arts was established in 2014 with an intake of 30 students from all provinces. It is the first public arts school in Rwanda. The aim of the government is to create professionals who will be able to promote both the traditional and modern Rwandan culture through the arts and technology. Studies are offered in music, design and visual arts. There is a second campus in Muhanga District.
