Details:
Diploma of Music. Two years. Studies include performance (classical, jazz/popular, African percussion), theory, composition, music history, instrumental conducting, music industry.
Institution Notes:
This privately-owned institution was founded in 1982 by the jazz artist Peter King. It prepares students for the professional examinations of Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship of the Trinity, Royal and London Schools of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the UK. Facilities include a 500-seat auditorium and boarding facilities for up to 200 students on site. The college has plans to establish a Bachelor of Music degree.
