Although there is no department of music at the University, there may be an opportunity to study ethnomusicology and Western music history as part of the basic university first degree (Diplôme - License).
Institution Notes:
The University can trace its history back to 1955. Within the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences and its Department of French and Francophone Studies there is a section entitled Mediation and Cultural Management, created in 2003. Within this area the program has offered basic music studies which may include performance, music history and ethnomusicology.
