Institution Notes:
The University of Constantine the Philosopher was founded in 1959 as a pedagogical institute and gained its current name and status in 1996. It specialises in the education of national minorities, including Hungarians, Germans and Romanies. The Department of Ethnology was established in 1992. Language of instruction is Slovak.
