The pre-university course lasts for six years which may commence during secondary school years. Studies in performance (jazz/rock, popular music), theory, jazz composition and arranging, theory, history of jazz, aural skills, basic conducting, music education.
Institution Notes:
The P J Vejvanovsky Conservatory (Konzervatoř P J Vejvanovského Kroměříž) can trace its history back to 1949. It consists of a general secondary school with emphasis on music as well as a professional music program. Language of instruction is Czech.
