Details:
Bachelor of Arts in Musicology. Four years. Studies include performance (Western, Arabic music), Arabic Maqamat, music history, ethnomusicology, composition and arranging, sound recording, music education.
Institution Notes:
This non-governmental Palestinian university began in 1918 as a school, and gained university status in 1978. The Faculty of Fine Arts was established in 1981. Language of instruction is Arabic. There is a liaison office in Amman, Jordan.
