Higher Education Diploma for Technical Music Professions (DU). One year. Studies involve technical training and practical work experience in any of piano tuning, guitar, accordion and wind instrument repairing, sound engineering.
Institution Notes:
The Institute, known in English as the 'European Technological Institute for Musical Professions' was officially opened in 1994. It is a non-profit organisation offering programs in all technical aspects of musical instruments - repairing, tuning, restoration and the creation of guitars, wind instruments, pianos and accordions, as well as providing training to students on technical aspects of sound and the music industry. It operates on three levels: • a resource centre for music professionals, • a school for education on all technical aspects of musical instruments and sound engineering, and • a promotion and development centre for the instrument-making industry.
