Details:
Diplôme d’études musicales (DEM). A two- to three-year pre-professional program in classical and contemporary performance and associated studies which may include early music, theory, aural skills and composition.
Institution Notes:
The Conservatoire is a public institution, created in 2002, offering programs in music, theatre, classical and contemporary dance and circus arts. The program is organised in cycles. The first (éveil musical’) four years, the second, four years, the third ('cycle d’orientation professionnelle') and fourth ('cycle d’enseignement supérieur professionnelle'). The Conservatoire operates on eleven locations in and around Toulon. In addition to the pre-professional program there are activities for children and interested members of the local community.
