Diploma program

Diplôme d’études musicales (DEM). A two- to three-year pre-professional program in classical and jazz performance and associated studies which may include early music, theory, aural skills, composition, sound design.

The Conservatoire can trace its history back to 1862. It is a public institution offering programs in music, classical and contemporary dance and drama. The program is organised in cycles. The first (éveil musical’) four years, the second, four years, the third ('cycle d’orientation professionnelle') and fourth ('cycle d’enseignement supérieur professionnelle'). In addition to the professional programs there are programs for interested members of the local community.
