Diplôme d’études musicales (DEM). A two- to three-year pre-professional program in performance and associated studies which may include early music, theory, aural skills and composition.

This Conservatoire can trace its history back to 1947. It is a public institution offering programs in music, dance and drama. The program is organised in cycles. The first (éveil musical’) four years, the second, four years, the third ('cycle d’orientation professionnelle') and fourth ('cycle d’enseignement supérieur professionnelle'). The Conservatoire operates in various locations in and around Greater Avignon.
