Bachelor of Arts. Four years. Studies include performance (classical, jazz/popular, Turkish instruments, Orff instruments), accompanying, theory, composition, music history, music technology, music education subjects.
Institution Notes:
The Eastern Mediterranean University was established in 1979, and was granted its current name and status in 1986. Its programs are fully recognized by the Council of Higher Education in Turkey. The university is a full member of the International Association of Universities, the European University Association, the Community of Mediterranean Universities and of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World. The department of music was established in 1999. Orchestral instruments and classical guitars are available for hire by the students. Language of instruction is Turkish.
