This is the Belize campus of the American Conservatory of Music based in Indiana, USA. It is a binational music school that formerly belonged to the Straube Piano Company and is now associated with the Orthodox Christian Church, being an institution of the St Michael the Archangel Greek Orthodox Monastery. There are schools of music, theology, elocution and ecclesiastical law. The Conservatory was originally founded in 1886 in Chicago, Illinois, USA, but was closed down in 1991 due to bankruptcy. The current Conservatory was established in 1992 with headquarters in Chicago, and campuses in Indiana and Belize.
