Institution Notes:
The Institute, located just two kilometres from the city of Agra, can trace its history back to 1915 and gained its current name and status in 1973. The Department of Music was established in 1950. This Institute is deemed to be of equal status to a University. All programs include a work experience component. There is some interesting research into the effect of music on prisoners.
