Institution Notes:
The Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya (ESMUC) was established in 2001. There are departments of performance, traditional music, jazz, early music, musicology, management, pedagogy, theory, composition and conducting. In addition to the professional programs the School offers performance tuition to interested members of the community. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
