Workshops and short courses in Kodály musicianship, choral conducting. Held at four different levels - foundation, elementary intermediate and advanced.
Institution Notes:
The British Kodály Academy is a registered charity that has been organising short courses in Kodály musicianship and choral techniques since 1983. It also organises an annual Summer School and a Spring Course as well as study tours for teachers in Keckskemét, Hungary. The Academy issues a twice-yearly newsletter to its members and has a full range of books and teaching materials useful for those wishing to teach or learn the Kodály approach. It is affiliated with the International Kodály Society.
