Undergraduate program

Licence Musicologie or Musique (= Bachelor of Arts). Three years. Studies include performance (classical, jazz), music history, ethnomusicology, aesthetics.

Diploma program

Diplôme d’études musicales (DEM). A two- to three-year pre-professional program in classical and contemporary performance and associated studies which may include early music, theory, aural skills and composition.

Formerly known as 'Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Perpignan', this conservatoire iis a public institution offering programs in music, classical and contemporary dance and drama in six locations throughout the Perpignan Mediterranean region. The program is organised in cycles. The first (éveil musical’) four years, the second, four years, the third ('cycle d’orientation professionnelle') and fourth ('cycle d’enseignement supérieur professionnelle'). Apart from the pre-professional program the Conservatory offers programs for children and interested members of the local community. A new building was officially opened in 2015, housing enlarged accommodation and a well-stocked library.
