Institution Notes:
This Catholic Institute of Arts and Sacred Music was founded in 1978 as a department of the Institut Catholique de Toulouse which itself can trace its history back to 1229. The Institute of Sacred Music organises a variety of activities and concerts involving painting, architecture and music as well as workshops on Gregorian chant. It also hosts conferences, seminars and lectures on topics in liturgical and sacred music.
