Institution Notes:
This private university was founded in 1986 on Hindu principles and was granted its current name and status in 2008. It operates on three separate campuses throughout Malaysia. The Faculty of Music, Social Sciences and Liberal Arts consists of two schools - the School of Music and the School of Education. There are excellent facilities for study and performance of music, including a state-of-the-art recording studio and a 450-seat recital hall. There is an arrangement with a number of international universities (in United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA) for students to be credited for work completed at UCSI towards a degree in the overseas country.
