Institution Notes:

This national university was founded in 1989. It is located in the southern Buenos Aires metropolitan area, in Bernal City, Quilmes. In addition to its undergraduate programs the university offers several post-graduate courses each year relating to such areas as synthesizing and processing sound, programming of interactive software, and the like. There is a library of recordings of electro-acoustic works and a sound laboratory equipped for processing sound, music and image.
