Bachelor of Arts in Music. Four years. Studies include performance (classical, popular, opera), composition and arranging, music education.
Institution Notes:
A private Christian college for women, founded in 1879. It became an official university in 1919 and was granted its current name and status in 1981. The Faculty of Music operates on the Shintomachi campus and has two departments - music performance and applied music. There are two chapels, one seating 700 and with a pipe organ. There is an attached secondary school.
