Institution Notes:
The Conservatoire, which can trace its history back to 1926, is administered by the government and was granted its current name and status in 1969. There are courses for adult and child beginners in the areas of music, dance and drama. The Conservatoire houses a fine pipe organ. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
