Performance Diploma. In piano, voice, orchestral instruments, recorder, bagpipe, accordion, jazz instruments. Studies include solfeggio, theory, improvisation, music history, jazz studies. Musicology Diploma.
Institution Notes:
Founded in 1975, this school is attached to the Malta Government Education Department in Floriana. It, together with Schools of Drama, Art, Dance and Visual and Performing Arts, forms part of the Visual and Performing Arts Schools under the Directorate for Lifelong Learning and Early School Leavers. The Gozo School of Music is a branch of this School and there is another campus in Msida. The School offers music tuition to young children from age 6 and interested adults of the local community.
