Details:

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Performing Arts. Two years following completion of the two-year Diploma program. Studies in Hindustani vocal music, sitar, tabla, violin, Carnatic vocal music. Available only to holders of the Diploma in Indian Music and Dance from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute which organises the program.

Institution Notes:

The University of Mauritius was established in 1965. It is the only institution on the island licensed to award degrees. The current program involving music is awarded in collaboration with the Mahatma Gandhi Institute.
