There is a Research Institute of Arts and Culture which, in 2000, published a three-volume History of Mongolian Culture. A branch college of the university offers music and dance programs in Zavkhan Aimag. There is a secondary school providing music and general education to talented students. From year 10 students may enter a three-year Diploma course which may then lead on to the Bachelor's degree.
