Details:

Premier prix. Awarded after eight years of study. Studies include performance on lute, violin, Arabic flute, Andalusian instruments, solfège (using modes found in Andalusian music). Includes some study of classical dance. Prix d'honneur. After ten years of study.

Institution Notes:

This is the oldest conservatorium of music in Morocco, founded in 1927. It operates under the Ministry of Culture and concentrates on Andalusian music, though it includes some study of Western music.
