Bachelor of Arts (Honours). Four years. Available with concentrations in any of music, drama or visual arts. Studies may include performance (Western, Namibian/African instruments), ethnomusicology, music technology, music education, dance, theatre.

Master of Arts in Performing Arts. In performance in theatre and musicals, arts management. Doctor of Philosophy.
Institution Notes:
The University was established in 1992. Since its development, the Performing Arts Department has moved from music specialisation towards integrated performing arts, with theatre and dance courses playing an integral role. The department also has a strong focus on research in music education and ethnomusicology. The university’s Centre for External Studies includes studies in music education for teachers, using distance mode study. The library has a growing collection of indigenous music and instruments.
