This private University’s arts sector (Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten) comprises academies of dance, drama, fine arts, circus arts, architecture and Fontys Conservatorium of Music. The Conservatorium (formerly known as Brabants Conservatorium) offers programs in all aspects of popular and jazz styles and includes a Rock Academy. It co-operates with the Conservatorium in Maastricht to offer the graduate music program for the Zuyd Nederlandse Hogeschool voor Muziek +31 88 508(the Zuyd University). In addition to the professional programs there are pre-courses for students wishing to begin higher studies as well as a Young Musicians Academy for younger students. Other campuses are in Eindhoven and Venlo. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
