Founded in the 1970s, the Conservatorium Haarlem has operated since 2010 within the campus of Inholland University of Applied Science. Studies are presented with a tri-partite combination - art, business and education. State-of-the-art facilities are provided. Part-time music programs are offered to interested members of the local community. The Conservatorium organises an annual International Writers Camp to introduce students to the real world of music industry. It also offers prospective students a preparatory theory course. The Conservatorium is a member of the Berklee Global Partnership. Language of instruction is Dutch. An active member of the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen.
